PACIFIC WEEK: WATCH 'MAKING THE PACIFIC'... AND MORE!

I couldn't be more proud of The Pacific. And, I couldn't be more excited that the time has finally come (after three years in production) for the other WWII story to be told... the story that we began with Band of Brothers nine years ago.

When I work on a project like this, it reminds me why I do what I do. Sure... we're still doing great things with 24... and Community just got picked up for a second season. So, we're real thrilled about that. Since starting Flashpoint Studios fourteen years ago, my staff and I have pledged to provide input and assistance to different and promising dramatic and comedic television and film projects. As with any career though, you can at times find yourself wondering if it's time to shift gears a bit. But projects like these, where you can tell brutal, honest, and real-life stories in a manner in which today's generation understands what our fathers and grandfathers went through... these projects can re-invigor and change you.
